These quick and comforting apple patties are crispy outside, soft inside, and filled with warm cinnamon-spiced apples.
There’s something about the smell of cinnamon and apples that instantly makes a house feel like home. These crispy apple patties are simple, cozy, and nostalgic — they remind me of chilly afternoons, warm tea, and comfort in its purest form.
Unlike traditional apple pies, these are hand-held, quick to make, and delightfully flaky. Whether you're baking for a weekend treat or a holiday brunch, they’ll disappear fast — I speak from experience.

Serves: 6
⏱ Cooking Time: 20 minutes
Ingredients:
2 apples (firm, like Elstar or Granny Smith), peeled and diced
2 tbsp sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp lemon juice
1 sheet puff pastry (store-bought or homemade)
1 egg, beaten (for brushing)
🔪 Instructions:
1. Prep the filling:
Toss the diced apples with sugar, cinnamon, and lemon juice. Set aside.
2. Cut and fill the pastry:
Cut puff pastry into squares or circles. Spoon a bit of apple filling into the center of each.
3. Seal & brush:
Fold over and press the edges with a fork. Brush with beaten egg for a golden finish.
4. Bake:
Bake at 200°C/390°F/180° Fan for 15–18 minutes, or until puffed and golden brown.
🍎 Serving Tip:
Sprinkle with powdered sugar just before serving, or serve warm with a spoonful of whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.
