Easy 10-Minute Chocolate Fudge (3-Ingredient Recipe!)
Serves: Makes about 36 squares
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Chill Time: 2 hours
Ingredients:
3 cups (510g) semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 can (14 oz / 396g) sweetened condensed milk
1/4 cup (57g) unsalted butter, cut into small pieces
📌 Optional: 1 teaspoon vanilla extract, a pinch of salt, chopped nuts, or sea salt for sprinkling.
Instructions:
Prep Pan: Line an 8x8 inch square pan with parchment paper, leaving an overhang on two sides to easily lift the fudge out later.
Melt Ingredients: In a medium, heavy-bottomed saucepan, combine the chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, and butter.
Heat Gently: Place the pan over low heat. Stir continuously until the chocolate and butter are completely melted and the mixture is smooth and glossy. Be careful not to let it scorch. This should only take 5-7 minutes.
Finish: Remove from heat. If using, stir in the vanilla extract and pinch of salt.
Set: Immediately pour the fudge into your prepared pan and spread it into an even layer with a spatula. If desired, sprinkle the top with sea salt or chopped nuts.
Chill: Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until firm.
Cut: Once firm, use the parchment paper overhang to lift the fudge out of the pan. Place it on a cutting board and cut it into small squares. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
